There are steps you ABSOLUTELY NEED TO TAKE if you are looking for a job.
-
Tell your Family
- Make sure your family knows about your job search. They are your primary support network and they can and will help - if you let them.
- Make sure they know what type of work you are seeking - otherwise, they won't be able to help.
- Whatever you do, don't hide the fact that you are now "in career transition." Family members can be some of your best networking contacts - especially if they are members of groups, teams, clubs, etc. where they see "people who know people."
