While the production quality on this video is not the best - and, Malcolm exhibits his humanity at the very beginning, the content of the video is important to understanding the nature of a resume.
You should definitely pay attention to this video as you start your Resume writing process.
Tips to Remember:
- Name and contact information at the very top.
- Some people are excluding their addresses for privacy concerns - but, make sure you include at least an email address and phone where you can be reached.
- Tailor the resume to the position to make it easier for an HR Screener to identify the position for which you're applying.
- Keep the reader's interest starting at the top.
- A good tailored resume will take at least a couple hours.
- Make sure your resume details how you match up with the requirements of the Job position
